Alan B Helffrich Jr.

Alan passed peacefully on December 23, 2017, his favorite time of the year. He was a loving husband, dedicated and caring father/grandfather and loyal friend. He took care of his mind and body and loved to read, fly, dance, entertain and play golf. Alan was friendly and outgoing and enjoyed travel, meeting new people and immersing himself in new cultures and languages. He was a natural leader, mentor, teacher and used his positive attitude and never quit mentality to influence the good in others. Alan was a patriot and a strong believer in family. He is survived by his sister, 4 sons, 4 daughters in law, 6 grandchildren, and 11 nephews and nieces. Alan is now with his beloved wife, Fritz, of more than 60 years watching over the family they created and nurtured.
