Welcome to the memorial page for

Allan Tellier

November 24, 2012

Allan Tellier passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at his home in Clearwater, FL.   He was born on February 9, 1938 to Clement and Grace Tellier in Danville, Illinois.   He married Margaret Hendrickson on April 24, 1960 in Danville, Illinois.   Allan and Marge were blessed with a wonderful family.  He is survived by his wife Marge and daughters Sue (Steve Waldron) Tellier of Dunedin, FL and Sandra (Randy) Birge of East Peoria, IL, grandchildren: Tony and Emily Birge of East Peoria; Guy (Lauren) Tellier of Dunedin, FL; Amy (Pete) Faltraco of New Port Richey, FL; and A.J. Lape (Ashleigh Saville) of Oakwood, IL and great grandchildren:  Aydin, Trevor, Micah, Derek, Carleigh, Riley, and Carter.   Allan was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Bob and his brother-in-law Norm.  His siblings Norma Hawkins of Danville, Il; Ron (Barb) Tellier of Clearwater, FL; Larry (Anne) Tellier of Oldsmar, FL; Dan (Terri) Tellier of Largo, FL; and Dwight (Allene) Tellier of Gulfport, MS all survive. Allan was well loved and respected by all who knew him.  He was a kind, gentle man who would help anyone in need, in any way he could.   While it is said of many people that they would give you the shirt off their back, it is the life Allan Tellier led daily.   His generous use of his time and talents for anyone in need is simply the man he was and the person he inspired those around him to be.  Allan was a hard-working man who was a heavy equipment operator nearly all his life.   He was known for his many talents in fixing just about anything and making something beautiful out of nothing.   Most of all Allan was known as a man who loved his family, friends, and God. He and his wife Marge were members of Family of God Singers.  His work ethic, spirit of generosity, big hugs and willingness to sit and listen are simple evidence of the life he led serving and emulating Christ.  Visitation will be 10 am – noon on Thursday, November 29 at Holloway Funeral Home Inc.  in Oldsmar, Florida.   A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Tarpon Springs, FL on Tarpon Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Assembly of God, 550 East Tarpon Avenue, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689.
