Arnold Leonard Shapiro

Arnie Shapiro, 79, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 suddenly near his home in Palm Harbor, FL. Arnie was born on May 23, 1937 in Cleveland, Ohio. He loved his family, walks with his dog Beau, sunsets,  taking photographs and had a way with words like no one else. Arnie was a clever man who always genuinely cared about everyone. His humor and mischief was that of a little boy.  He made sure he took a special interest in his grandchildren.  We all will miss talking with him dearly. 

He leaves his wife of 12 years, Mary Kaye; his sons from his previous marriage to Diane Shapiro, Gary Shapiro and wife Lori; Brian Shapiro and wife Kristen; and Sandy Shapiro; sister, Carol (Shapiro) Blaiwes and husband Art; brother Elliott Shapiro and wife Carol; his step children, Leslie Santiago and husband Ron, Emily Waller and husband Rich, Katherine Kotopoulos and husband Ari, Tommy Kotopoulos; 14 grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and many close friends.  How he was loved!
