My parents (Jean & Bill Eckloff) just called & told us the sad news of your Mom's passing. She was a very special lady & will be missed by so many. Our hearts go out to all of you. You are in our thoughts & prayers.

Dear Wright Kids,

Your mom & I have been friends for 63 years. She and I talked in October or November and I planned to come spend a day/night with her this winter while we are in Florida (she told me that she was no longer allowed to drive out of town--so I told her I'd come see her before my kids made me quit driving on the big highway!). Your mom stayed with us in Ann Arbor when she came to go to school to become a nurse practitioner! I knew each of you when you were young and your mom kept me informed as to your whereabouts and accomplishments--I have seen many pictures.
Dian was a kind, talented, and giving person. She & I had many good times together. I am sorry I will not be able to attend the memorial service. I would have loved the opportunity to meet each of you as adults. I have many good memories of the time we spent together. Warm wishes to each of you, Carol Crawford

I worked with Dian years ago in Lansing. She was a great influence in many areas of my life. So sorry for the loss.

Very sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mom. I worked with Dian as a fellow night nurse on the Pediatrics unit at Ingham Medical Center in Lansing in the late seventies. I was younger, and new to caring for children. Your mom taught me so much, and I really appreciated her sweet and very professional spirit. We had occasion to have a visit at her home after she retired, and I enjoyed having a chance to get together again.

My mother was my best friend. There are no words to express how dearly she is missed. I am glad that she is now an angel in heaven. She was my angel on earth.

So very sorry for the loss to the family, friends and community. I spent time quilting with Dian here in Michigan and learned from her caring example. You can be sure that her influence will continue to be felt. God bless.
