Greta Arline Rickard 95 of Oldsmar

Greta was born on May 17, 1920 in Ashland, Ohio to Leo Leander Cook and Hazel Lance Cook. She passed away peacefully under hospice care on May 16, 2016 at Fairway Oaks Center, Tampa, Fl. Greta who always had a smile on her face, loved God with all her heart and in turn was loved and admired by family, friends and care givers, alike. She was a graduate of Mt. Sinai School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio and later in life became a spiritual warfare minister, receiving a diploma in Practical Theology in June, 1989. She is survived by her 2 sons, James I. Rickard, III and Randall Scott Rickard. Greta was blessed with 6 grandchildren Laura Ann Kressman, Jeffery Michael Rickard, Christopher Rickard, Heather Marie Wagner, Jason Scott Rickard and Lea Lee Woelfle and 8 great grandchildren; Kyle Thomas Peters, Cassidy Ann Peters, Marlayna Paige Kressman, Brittany Nicole Rickard, Amber Marie Rickard, Jordan Kelly Rickard, Gavin Tyler Rickard and Trevor Woelfle and her dear friend of over 30years Meta Blanton. A private celebration of her life will be held by the family at a later date.
