Thoughts and Prayers to the family. JW and I were fellow members of the Peerless Pinellas 4-H Club lead by Bill Allison. I was older and helped JW with his heifer project. Many fond memories of times spent with JW and his Folks.

Justin taught us everything us crazy Northerners needed to know about Florida gardening. He was the best next door neighbor we've ever had. He rescued our escapee indoor cat (twice), watched Sheena and our house when we went on vacation, and always left the most BEAUTIFUL vases of roses for our return. We enjoyed helping return the favor watching Max (who loved our goldens Cosmo and Jazmine). Mark was never so petrified taking care of all of his hundreds of roses when he traveled to China. And we don't think we've ever laughed so hard along with him at the squirrel trapping to save his pecans, Justin, you will be missed by all. Except the squirrels.

We salute the life’s work and gracious kindness of our beloved Nephew and Cousin, Justin Steadham! Multiple generations of students have benefited from his thoughtfully sincere and scholarly dedication to teaching. These students and their children are his eternal legacy! Would that we all, like Justin, be able to share knowledge, guidance and love those entrusted to our care.
With sincere condolences,
The Vic & Mary Steadham Family

So sorry to hear of J. W.'s passing. I remember him in elementary school and middle school as a very nice young man from one of Palm Harbor's nice families. We are all better for having known him.

I remember going out to the flower farm with my dad, Bill Allison to chat with J.W. and his father. As I recall, J.W. was a 4-H'er just like my brothers Billy and Barney. Rest in Peace our Palm Harbor friend.

Butch, Nebraska Road area will never be the same now that you are gone. All of the others who lived and grew up along there have either passed on or moved away. You and your parents will always be part of my memories.

I will miss Justin.....our chats, his teaching me about roses and how to grow them, watching his dogs (Max and Lance) and all the laughs and conversations about our teaching experiences we shared. He was a wonderful neighbor and a friend. My condolences to his family.
