Mary A. Carbonell Wolfe "Nana", 81, Went to be with Jesus on June 29th, 2015 with her family at her side. For two years she courageously fought many health issues. She is survived by her husband of 33 years David E. Wolfe. They Met & Married in December 1981 at Bachelors & Belles Club in Old Hyde Park with 200 members in attendance. (Some said it would never last.) Other survivors include brother William (Wanda) Fernandez, 2 sons Hector(Donna) Carbonell, David Valentino, Stepson, John (April Suber) Wolfe. She also raised and cherished from age 1, Grandson Nicholas Carbonell as well as helping to raise Nicole & David Jr.  She loved all her grandchildren and her eyes would light up when they visited. Also eight other Grandchildren & twelve Great-Grandchildren. Sisters in law Dorthy (Frank) Lampe, Daisy Carbonell plus Nieces Sarah & Roxanna, Nephews Ricky, David, & Mark and Cousins by the dozens. Her lifetime friends included Norma & Scotty Crocker, Hortensia Haya, Margie Rios, Nina, Danny, Jessica, Ray, Marianna Cerda. She was an excellent cook and mastered the Art of Latin, German, Italian, Chinese, and American comfort foods. She made the very best Tacos, Crab enchilo, Tamole En Cazuela, Lasagna, Cheese Perogies & Jewish Chicken Soup. Her Christmas and Thanksgiving Dinners were standing room only & enjoyed by all. You never left her home Hungry or without a "Take Out Box". She was born in Cantano Puerto Rico. & arrived in New York City at age Two. Moved to Ybor City, Tampa at age Seven and attended Tampa Schools. Was a Licensed Cosmetologist but preferred being a Wife, Mother, Grand Mom, & a Friend to all she met. She was a Funny, Kind, & Happy Lady with an outstanding Personality & Loved by All her knew Her.The Family would like to Thank the many Doctors, Nurses, Pct's, Aides & Support staff at Original St. Joseph's Hospital, Westbay Genesis Rehab Center, Mease Countryside Hospital, and Empath Brookside Hospice who have all given her the Very best Care & Compassion during Her time of need. A future gathering to Honor Her Lifetime is being planned. Call Dave in one week @ 813-924-3289.
