Virginia T Cooney

89, of Oldsmar, passed away May 29, 2015. Virginia was born on October 10, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York to the parents of John and Mary (Rose) Kelly. She was one of eight children.  She worked as a Manager for St. George Country Club. Virginia is survived by (2) loving sons, Robert (Joanne) of Oldsmar and Richard (Wendy) of Centereach, New York. Four grandchildren, five great grandchildren. Calling hours are Monday June 1, 2015 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm- 8:00pm at Holloway Funeral Home, Oldsmar, Florida. On Wednesday June 3rd there will be at viewing 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm at the St. James Funeral Home in St. James, New York. Burial to follow at the Long Island National Cemetery in New York. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
