Dawn Ashmun Obituary

Dawn Adele Ashmun, 41, of Tampa, Florida, passed away peacefully in her home. She was born September 11, 1976 in Peoria, Illinois to Raymond Van Ashmun and Patricia Ann Barrett. Dawn spent her childhood in Peoria, Illinois and in 1985 moved to Safety Harbor, Florida. She attended the University of Florida and then started her career in the Marketing and Human Resources field as a Project Manager. Dawn loved animals, the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, photography, being a Marine mom and her beloved son, Shane. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and forever hold a place in her families hearts.

She is survived by her son, Shane Huddleson; mother, Patricia Barrett; sisters: Kathy (Rich) Harding and Christine (Richard) Gallo; nieces: Isabella, Sophia and Torie; and nephew, Mitchell.
