Kimberly (Cromwell) Burgee

Kimberly C. Burgee, 58, of Oldsmar, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on April 8, 2019. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on December 13, 1960 to Roland Cromwell and Marilyn Garrett.  She was the loving wife of Rev. Brian W. Burgee of 37 years.  She was employed by Carlton Fields for 20 years as a legal assistant, where she made numerous life long friends.  Since the beginning of their marriage they were very active in church, starting with Mt. Vernon United Methodist where they were married and involved in many ministries.  In 1986, they started attending the Rock Church of Baltimore.  In 1994, they transferred to The Rock Church in Virginia Beach where they were both on staff working under Bishop John Gimenez.  Then in 1998, by the word of the Lord, they moved to Tampa, Florida to start the Rock Church of Tampa Bay.

Survived by her loving husband, Rev. Brian Burgee; father, Roland Cromwell; daughters, Rhonda Martin, wife of Chuck Martin of Jarrettsville, MD; Sheri Kutchey, wife of Ken Kutchey of Smithsburg, MD; four grandchildren, Jordan Martin (Shari), Paige Kutchey (Kyle), Krystal Martin and Cameron Kutchey; two siblings, Denise Byrne (Bill) of Baltimore, MD; Karin Polanowski (late husband, Bill) of Lakeland, FL; nephew Zac Merson (Ginger) of Jacksonville, FL; niece Tisha Julian and her children.  Preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Cromwell.

A visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Oldsmar on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 12:30pm to 2:00pm. Services will be held directly after at 2:00pm.
