Lillian Jeanette Mulcahy, born on April 12,1920 in St. Louis, Missouri died January 6, 2018 in Clearwater, Florida. She was 97 years old. Lillian was born to Tony and Elizabeth Moskus, Lithuanian immigrants. She lived most of her life in St.Louis. She was employed by the Terminal Railroad as a secretary at Union Station. Lillian met Paul Mulcahy on a date arranged by their close friends Gloria and Milton Bibko, and Lester and Marjorie Placke. They were married for 51 years and had two daughters, Elizabeth Chehayl ( Peter Chehayl) and Jeanette Mulcahy ( Alan Camp). Lillian had three grandchildren, Daniel Chehayl, Lily Camp, and Ethan Camp. She was very involved in their lives, helping with their upbringing. After Paul’s passing in 2003, Lillian moved to Florida to be closer to both her daughters and their families. Even though she missed him greatly, she began a new life with new friends and activities. While in Florida she enjoyed visits from old friends, some travel, time spent with her family, and Florida sunsets. She was well known for her love of salami, cheese, red wine, all things pickled (including pickled herring) and chocolate! She enjoyed being teased about her “ longevity” diet. Although the last few years presented her with many physical challenges, Lillian did her best to remain upbeat. She enjoyed a life truly well lived. Rest In Peace.
