Michael L Zielinski

Michael L. Zielinski, 71 of Oldsmar, FL passed away Tuesday April 16, 2019 at Mease Hospital Countryside, Safety Harbor, FL following a lengthy illness. Michael was born in Chicago, IL to the proud parents of Arthur C and Virginia R. (Hoefke) Zielinski. He attended the local schools and graduated from police academy in Champagne, IL. Mike worked for the DuPage County Sheriff's Department in Wheaton, IL for 20 years and retired in 1994. Mike and the former Marcia J. Bromley were married on December 24, 1966 to this union one son was born Michael II. He enjoyed working on cars especially his corvette that he and Marcia built from the ground up. Mike like to ride motorcycles and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #2373 here in Oldsmar. Mike is survived by his wife of 52 years Marcia, one son: Michael  (and Catrina) Zielinski II of Burns, KS, one grandson: Leroy, one sister: Kim Zielinski of Bowlingbrook, IL and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Arthur and two sisters: Gloria and Joy. Visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 2019 here at Holloway Funeral Home Chapel starting at 4 pm and the Moose Lodge Chaplain will conduct the service following the visitation.
