(Nafa) Gafataitua C. Fa'alogo

Gafataitua Fa'alogo (Nafa), 47, of Tampa, passed away February 4, 2017.  Nafa was born in Newport Beach, California, and being of Samoan heritage, he was granted the Chief Name of Fa'alogo Connelly Fa'alogo.  Nafa moved to Tampa with his parents in 1981.  He had worked at the Lowery Park Zoo for several years before taking a job at the USF Library where he has worked for almost 20 years.  Nafa was a prolific musician and has played for several bands around the Tampa Bay area over the years. He enjoyed life and was the most positive person who touched the lives of everyone he met. Survived by his parents Eric and Ann and lots of cousins.  A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
