Patricia U. Beebe Fehr Casper, 90, of, Dunedin, FL formerly of Peoria, IL and San Jose, CA
passed away July 23, 2019 at 2:42 PM at Suncoast Hospice of North Pinellas in Palm Harbor, Florida.
She was born March 17, 1929 in San Jose to Anne C and Steven M. Beebe. She married Robert J. Fehr on August 13, 1949 in Peoria, IL. She later married Richard E. Casper on July 20, 1974 in San Jose, CA. He survives. Also surviving are sons, Michael J. (Carolyn) Fehr, of San Jose, CA, Daniel R. (Susan) Fehr of Redding, CA and Thomas F. (Jennifer) Fehr of Dunedin, FL.; six grandchildren, Jenny, Becky, Ben, Stacey, Leslie and Nolan, and seven great grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother, Stephen Jr., of Montague, CA. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Fehr, sister, Jean Leyva, her parents, and an infant daughter, Joanne.
Pat was a housewife during her young married life and began working at Pacific Gas and
Electric in 1966. She also worked for Illinois Bell System following high school graduation.
Upon returning to Peoria in 1974, she worked as a secretary at the original Lincoln Elementary
School and then at Richwoods High School until retirement in 1991. She attended St. Joseph's
Elementary School and Notre Dame High School in San Jose and graduated from Peoria's
Academy of Our Lady.
Pat and Dick enjoyed many years of camping with close friends. They enjoyed traveling to see
Family in-CA, participating in -Masonic trips, and cruising the Caribbean. She was secretary for
the Illinois Wesleyan University Summer Music Camps for 10 years. She enjoyed attending the
Peoria Muni Band' concerts at Glen Oak Park as well as the Friday night concerts held at the
Metamora, IL square. She was an excellent knitter and enjoyed crafting. Many family members
and friends have handmade items containing her personal label.
She and Dick established winter residency in 1996 at Park Place RV Resort in Harlingen, TX,
where they remained before moving to Dunedin in 2008 to be closer to family. They became
permanent Floridians in 2013.
Pat attended Unity Church of Peoria, IL and of Palm Harbor FL. In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be given to either of the Unity Churches, Sisters of the Holy Family in Fremont CA, or
Heifer International. Cremation rites have been accorded. Holloway Funeral Home, Oldsmar, FL
is assisting the family with arrangements. Services will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Dunedin Dialysis center for their years of loving care.
