Shirley H Vermeer

VERMEER, Shirley, 87, of Palm Harbor, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 26, 2017.  She is

survived by her 3 children, Kent (Debra) Vermeer of Clearwater, FL; Kerry (Katy) Vermeer of

Minneapolis, MN; and Kay (Lyle) Van Wyk of Lexington, SC.  She was known as Mimi to her 9

grandchildren:  Emily, Matt, Grace, Jake, Gordon, Molly, Sage, Evie and Griffen, and 1 great-

grandson Alex.  She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Wayne.  Shirley and Wayne moved to

Clearwater in 1988.  She loved to golf and spend time with her family.  There will be a celebration

of Shirley’s life on Saturday, Dec. 16th at 2pm at Heritage United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers,

contributions can be made to the Shirley Vermeer Fund at Heritage United Methodist Church, 2680
