Kristin, family and friends, I just read about the death of Steve. May your many memories fill your hearts with the comfort of our great God of comfort and hearer of prayers. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4; Psalm 65:2

Kristin, I am so sorry for your recent loss. I knew your Dad a little; your Mom very much more, having worked with her at the St. Louis Globe-Democrat here in St. Louis. I am so very glad that she and Jackie were able to spend some time for Spring Training with us the year before we lost your mom. I will always remember her vibrant smile and personality, along with a few escapades that shall remain forever unmentioned. Please know that I loved and admired her; even aspired to be her...oh, had so many things turned out differently. Just know that I will forever cherish the times we shared.

Kristin, you do not know me, though I knew both your mom and dad. Jackie, your mom and I worked at the Globe-Democrat together...your mom and Jackie spent time with me and my husband in West Palm Beach watching St. Louis Cardinal spring training games the year before she died. You I'll never know how much I emulated and admired her...her beauty, personality...everything about her made me want to be a better person. I did not know your dad very well, but know that he made your mom very happy. Know that I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Mary Migliazzo

Steve was one of my favorite cousins and the closest in age to my brother and me, being exactly between us in age. He lived with us the first year he went to Coe College in Cedar Rapids. I will always remember the good times the three of us had together, as well as the large family reunions with all of the cousins.

Hi Jo,

I just received Sue's note and card and she mentioned you in it. Thank you guys for keeping in touch. It means so much. I think my brothers and I will head to Iowa in September. Is there a chance of meeting up with you guys?

I am so saddened to hear that Steve has passed too. I'm sure that Kathy was waiting for him with open arms. My condolences to your family. He will be missed.
