Kermit Randall Caudill was born February 11th,1959 in Martin, Ky and passed away December 21st,2025 in Clearwater, Fl.
He was born to Shelbia Jean Caudill (Prater) and Billie Caudill, moving to Warsaw, IN at a young age for some time then to Oldsmar, FL where he resided for the remainder of his life.
Randall was a loving brother to two sisters Bebbie Ervin and Terra Caudill, An uncle to a niece Dina Marie Hindman and three nephews Christopher Lee Ervin, Kenneth Bryan Caudill, and Michael Angelo Mata. As well as a Great uncle to one nephew, 3 nieces, and a fourth niece one on the way.
He attended school throughout Pinellas County graduating from Dunedin High School in 1977. He then spent 40 years working at the East Lake Country Club Water Dept. He was a bowler for the last 50 years with family and friends on various leagues, involved with baseball in the Oldsmar Little League, Men’s and Co-Ed softball at Canal Park, and just purely loved the sport watching his nephews grow up playing as well. His main love was Kentucky Wildcats basketball. His other passions included fishing, hunting, camping, and golfing with family and friends in his younger years he also loved mudding, racing, and motor cross.
Randall was a very grumpy, soft-spoken man that needed an acquired taste and patience in his friendships. He made lifelong friends along the way. Was loved by his family and even when he had an attitude, he would do anything for them. He truly loved and cared for his mother until his dying day.
He was preceded in death by his father Billie Caudill (2014) and sister Terra Caudill (2020). He was survived by his mother Shelbia Caudill (Oldsmar, Fl), sister Bebbie Ervin (Safety Harbor, Fl), and niece Dina Marie Hindman (East Lake, Fl); his nephews Christopher Lee Ervin (Anchorage, Ak), Kenneth Bryan Caudill (Mansfield, OH), and Michael Angelo Mata (Appleton, Mn); along with his great nieces and nephew.
There will be a viewing/small service at Holloway Funeral Home in Oldsmar, Fl on Friday December 26th from 1-5pm. Then he will be transported to Martin, Ky for a service at Hall Funeral Home before being laid to rest in the family cemetery.
