Margaret Tellier Obituary

Margaret “Marge” Mae Tellier, 83, of Dunedin, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20th, surrounded by her loving family. A devoted mother, grandmother, great‑grandmother, sister, and friend, Marge’s gentle spirit and generous heart touched everyone who knew her.

Marge was born on February 27, 1942, in Danville, Illinois, to Russell and Betty (Elliot) Hendrickson. On April 24, 1960, she married the love of her life, Allan Tellier, and together they built a home filled with faith, music, and unwavering love. Their life together was a testament to devotion, family, and service to others.

She is survived by her daughters Sue (Steve Waldron) Tellier of Dunedin, FL, and Sandra (Randy) Birge of East Peoria, IL; her grandchildren Guy Robert Tellier of Clearwater, FL, Amy Sue (Pete) Faltraco of Hudson, FL, Allan James Lape of Oakwood, IL, Tony (Angela) Birge of East Peoria, IL, and Emily (Weston) Boerckel of Hudsonville, MI; and her great‑grandchildren Trevor, Micah, Derek, Aydin, Carley, Riley, Carter, Hunter, Oaklyn, August, Aubrey, Wayne.

Marge is also survived by her siblings John Hendrickson of Covington, IN, Russ (Vicki) Hendrickson of Covington, IN, and Nellie (Paul) Jeske of Danville, IL. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Allan; her parents; her brothers Mike and Butch Hendrickson.

Marge was known for her deep love of children. She delighted in her many nieces, nephews, and the countless little ones who passed through her home. Her warm hugs, gentle words, and calming presence made every child feel cherished and safe.

A talented seamstress, Marge lovingly sewed clothing for her daughters throughout their childhood. Her musical gifts were equally treasured—she played piano for the Assembly of God churches in Danville, IL, and Tarpon Springs, FL, sharing her faith through every song. Marge and Allan were proud members of the Family of God Singers, using their voices to uplift and inspire.

Marge welcomed everyone with open arms. Her home was a place of comfort, kindness, and unconditional love. In 1988, she and Allan moved with several family members to Clearwater, Florida, where they continued to build a life centered on faith and family.

Marge’s legacy of compassion, faith, and love will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
