Thomas (Brad) Bradford Hanway, born August 20, 1978, in Roanoke, Virginia passed away unexpectedly at his home in Palm Harbor, Florida on June 1, 2021. Brad is survived by his wife, Michelle (Glaser), daughters Grayce and Charlotte, mother Donna, father Tom (Keleen), brothers Christopher Hanway and Kenneth Hanway, as well as step-sister Angeleen Winterich, nephews Tucker Hanway and Kian Winterich, and niece Annaleen Winterich.
Brad was a loving and devoted father to Grayce and Charlotte. He especially enjoyed teaching them to fish and instilling a love for the sport as deep as his.
He was also a life-long athlete and enjoyed many sports, however, Brad’s true love was baseball. It was that love that brought his team to the Little League World Series in 1991. Brad later played baseball for Tarpon Springs High School until he graduated. He made it a priority to sponsor as many baseball and softball teams as possible.
From childhood Brad was a huge Gators fan which led to him attending college at the University of Florida where he attended many games with his friends.
Brad began his professional career at the family-owned business, Gasco. His career aspirations were endless, and he eventually became the president of the company. He created many friendships among distributors across the globe.
He was a member of Northwood Presbyterian Church in Clearwater, Florida.
Brad had the biggest heart full of love for his family and friends and will be missed, but never forgotten.
When the sun has set, no candle can replace it.
