Evan J. White, Sr.

Evan J. White, Sr., born September 1, 1927 in Langdon, MO, went home Thursday, September 15, 2016.  He was a special husband, father, Pawpaw, brother, Army Veteran and friend to all.  When he was not working, his life was busy with coaching Little League Baseball Champs of 1959, watching his son's race motorcycles, sprint car races, camping with family and friends, going to the beach, and waterskiing on the Hillsborough River.  Always together with his family, he truly did have ”A Wonderful Life”.  Preceded in death by his mother & father Jim and Hallie White, in-laws Buster & Grace McDowell, sister Bea Wilkie, and baby grandaughter Celine White.  Survivors include devoted wife of 64 years Iris White, sons Evan, Jr., Robbie (Yvonne), Ronnie (Kim), Grandsons Evan III, Kenny (Jaimie),  great grandchildren Makayla, Kenny Jr. and Owen, numerous nieces and nephews,  and special friends Betty and Jack Coyle, Jay & Pat Stark, Earl & Barbara Stover, and many more friends.  We love you and will miss you forever.  The Memorial Visitation will be at Holloway Funeral Home, Saturday, September 24, 1pm to 4pm.
