Larry William Cornillaud

December 11, 2015

Larry William Cornillaud was born on October 13, 1941 in Dearborn, Michigan.  In 1955 his family moved to Lake Worth, Florida.  His parents, Bill and Lois, also had four daughters:  Barbara, Laura, Cindy and Tammy.

Larry received his A.A. Degree from Palm Beach Jr. College and his B.S. Degree from Florida Southern College where he was active in the Sigma Chi Fraternity.  Larry began teaching Biology in 1964 at Safety Harbor Jr. High and he lived on Clearwater Beach.

Larry met his bride-to-be, Elaine, in 1965 and they were married in 1966. Their son, Jason Howard was born in 1974.  Their granddaughter, Ava Layne, was born in 2005.  Larry delighted in spending time with Jason and Ava.

Larry excelled at teaching, waterskiing, racquetball, carpentry and using his wits to figure out how to make or fix things. In his retirement years, he added woodworking to his accomplishments.

Larry’s joys were his walk with the Lord Jesus, his family times, boating, fishing, traveling, being at their river house which he built and visiting Disney World.  In 1987, Larry drove our Suburban, pulling a travel trailer, all the way to Alaska and back.

In 1985, Larry invited Jesus into his heart and trusted Jesus as his Savior, Redeemer and Lord. This was the most important and most wonderful event that every happened in his life.  He had been with his Lord since 1 p.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015 and will be forever.
