Norma Jean Livingston

Norma Jean Livingston, 85, longtime resident of Oldsmar, originally from Tampa. Passed away January 17, 2017. Norma Jean was born July 6, 1931 in Tampa, and adopted by Susie and Richard Murray.  Adopted before she was born and brought home immediately after, to a family with 5 other girls. Norma Jean was a Christian, Child of God.  She attended Tampa Shores Baptist Church for 46 years.  She was a hugger in church and loved the Lord, her "Father".  She was Sunday School Director for 3 years, taught Sunday School for many years, organized Ladies (Hands for the Lord), had 2 children's choirs, "Little Amens" and the "Sunshine Choir", and also participated in the Choir Bible School, singing to the homebound, rest homes, and children's homes.  She did not want credit for these things, but instead give God the Glory for allowing her to do so. Norma Jean is survived by her Loving daughters, Karen Ann Worthington of Enterprise, Alabama and Susan Lynn Livingston of Port Richey, Florida; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews as well as great great great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, January 20, 2017 from 6:00 PM until Service Time at 8:00 PM at Holloway Funeral Home-Chapel 112 S. Bayview Blvd., Oldsmar, Florida 34677.
