Janet Hewlett Obituary

Janet Shepard Hewlett, age 97, passed away peacefully on August 28^th, surrounded by her daughters.

Janet was predeceased by her husband, Theodore C. Hewlett and her son William S. Hewlett. She is survived by her daughters, Lynne Hewlett Hammell (Ted), Janet Till ( Ralph) and Beth Hewlett, her grandchildren Keke Hammell, Andrea and Brett Hewlett and daughter-in-law, Rosa Hewlett.

Janet’s high school picture was captioned “It is nice to be natural when you are naturally nice”. She lived by these words treating all with kindness and dignity. As a result she was beloved by many.

She will be missed not only by her family, but also her many friends.

The family is grateful to Empath Hospice Pearl team for their support and caring expertise. We are also thankful for the outpouring of concern and love during Janet’s brief illness.
