Alan Seymour Obituary

Alan V. Seymour, 50, of Oldsmar passed away on December 5th, 2021.

Alan was as a cook and bartender at Hennessey’s Bar Oldsmar, where he often sang karaoke and played poker on his time off. His specialty was the wings, often asked for by name. His co-workers and friends there treated him like family. He was always the “class clown” and enjoyed making people laugh, smile and often shake their heads in wonder with his witty and sometimes sarcastic humor. He had a way of making others feel special, as a boy he gave you rocks if he liked you, if he really liked you he put them inside your hubcaps!

Over the years, Alan was a member of the Oldsmar and Palm Harbor Moose Lodges. He was committed to supporting the City of Oldsmar’s, Robert Seymour Jr. Annual fishing tournaments honoring his big brother. He loved his girlfriend, his family and his friends deeply. He made his mother proud, and he always proudly introduced her to everyone any chance he got, announcing “This is my Mama!”

Alan is survived by his girlfriend, Lorraine Daly; mother, Millie (Budd/Seymour) O’Neil; and sister, Pam (Seymour) Reynolds and her spouse Jerry Reynolds. He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert “Bobo” Seymour and father, Robert Seymour Sr. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 15th, 1:00PM, at Hennessy’s Bar (3980 Tampa Road, Oldsmar).
