Asher Romani Ritter

Asher Romani Ritter, aged 43, from St. Croix, USVI (via Tampa, FL), passed away on January 26, 2024. Asher was a spiritual person who consistently radiated love in every encounter. A self-taught chef, he had a passion for cooking and cherished moments spent with his family. His legacy will be remembered for the love and wisdom he generously shared. Knowing him was both a privilege and a gift.

He was predeceased by his father, Erwin Ritter; sister, Ashaki Ritter; brother, Michael Ritter; and grandparents Eirno Ritter, Gladys Stephens, and Leonard Rodgers.

Asher is survived by his children, Iron-deh Ritter, I-O’Deisha Ritter, Zillah Omega Romani, and Ahmaric Sahara Romani Ritter; grandchild, Layla Romani Tang How; mother, Sandra Rodgers; siblings, Nicole Ritter, Shawn Smith-Ritter, Jelani Ritter, Jamila Ritter, Ashara Ritter-Encarnacion, Jumaane Ritter, Sherika Ritter-Bartley, Sade Ritter, Kai Ritter, and Shakira Ritter; and partner, Vera Lynch.

A memorial will be held in the U.S. Virgin Islands on February 16, 2024.
