Betty Lou Thomas

Thomas, Betty L, 77, of Lutz,  passed away peacefully at home, December 22, 2024. Born in Owensboro, Kentucky, she spent most of her life in Louisville, Kentucky and the last 14 years in Tampa, Florida. 

She was a 1965 graduate of Butler High School . Betty went on to become a bookkeeper and billing clerk at Louisville Motors, Don Corlett Motors, Good Buick and Bill Collins Ford. 

Betty married Dean Thomas in 1988. Together they raised her daughter, Denise. 

Betty loved spending time with her family and friends.  When she was younger she would often be found at one of their favorite places like John E’s, or the Elks Lodge.  She also loved the beach and went as often as she could.  Betty was a member of the Catholic Church. 

Betty was preceded in death by her loving parents Alfred and Mildred Robinett, brothers Douglas Robinett and Douglas Schmitt. 

Betty is survived by her husband Dean, her daughter, Denise Palmer and her husband Marty, grandchildren Jack, Madison and Avery, and her loyal 4 legged companion, Murphy.  

The family chose to have a small, private celebration of life on December 26, 2024. Condolences can be made online.
