Carolyn Kates

Caroline (Carolyn) Naomi Kates passed away on Sept. 6, 2023. She was born in Phila., Pa on Oct. 6, 1926 and raised in Runnemede, N.J., graduating from Audubon H.S. in 1944.  She led a life based on the foundation of faith, family, friends and fun.  She is survived by her son H.  Booth Kates III (Susie), daughter Marilyn J. Kates (Laura), four grandchildren, Gretchen Morning (John), Meghan Whitney (James), Ryan Booth Kates (Ashley), and Amanda Parker (Jeff), nine great grandchildren, a niece and nephew, and five great nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by her husband of 68 years, Harry B. Kates, Jr., granddaughter Heidi, and great grandson Kaden.  A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church on Monday, Sept. 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in Vero Beach, Fl.  Interment in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, N.J.  Funeral arrangements by the Bradley & Stow in Medford, NJ.  Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN or Shriners Children’s Hospital in Phila, Pa.
