Earl B Bowermaster

Earl B. Bowermaster, 96 years old, of Safety Harbor, FL passed away December 29, 2022. Earl grew up in Uniontown, PA and moved to Florida in childhood, then entered the U.S. Navy from high school. Upon returning after his service, Earl started working as a printer for the St. Petersburg Times, Tallahassee Democrat, and eventually retired as the head of the composing room of the Tampa Tribune. During retirement, Earl enjoyed spending six months of the year in Boone, NC with his wife, Charlotte, along with family and friends. They enjoyed traveling, most notably their trek through the Canadian Rockies and the Alaskan countryside. Earl was an avid sports fan, always cheering for the Tampa Bay Rays, Bucs, and Lightning. Earl was a member of the John Darling Lodge #154 for over 65 years and proud to have received the high honor of Master Mason.

Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte D. Bowermaster; and Survived by three children, Rebecca Brockman (Larry Brockman), Debbie Ebersold (Orin Ebersold, Jr.) and Bryan Bowermaster; seven grandchildren, Jonathan Brockman (Jacqueline Hargis), Jeremy Brockman (Victoria Brockman), Jason Brockman, Amy Bishop (Odette Bishop), Erin Judkins (Steven Judkins), Nicole Latham (Jacob Latham), and Bryan Scott Bowermaster (Christina Bowermaster); and eight great-grandchildren, Henry Brockman, Scarlett Brockman, Caroline Judkins, Elizabeth Judkins, Abigail Judkins, Olivia Latham, Elijah Latham, and Peter Latham. A private ceremony for the family will be arranged at a later date through Holloway Funeral Home.
