Eli Alexander Day

Our sweet Eli Alexander Day was born with his Angel wings on January 14, 2023, at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida.

He was beautiful and perfect! Although he was only on this earth for a brief moment, he left a lifetime of love in our hearts!

Survivors include his parents Taylor & Auburn Day; grandparents Mark & Tawny Mercer, Jody & Joseph Clark, Todd & Melissa Day; great-grandparents Robert & Janice Petrick, Joe & Judy Bailey, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Our family would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the labor and delivery physicians and nurses in the Butterfly Unit at Mease Countryside Hospital. Through their grace and compassion, this amazing care team helped us to see the light in our darkest day and we will be forever grateful!

A tree will be planted in memory of Baby Eli at Phillippe Park, which was a special place where the three of us enjoyed time over the past few months.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Eli’s name to the Brianna Lee Foundation. The vision and hope of this foundation is to have teddy bears in every hospital in the United States and to let every mom/family that is faced with leaving a hospital maternity floor empty handed know that they are being prayed for and supported.
