George A Cernansky, age 77. Born August 31,1944 in Bellevue, PA son of the late George and Anna Cernansky. A recent resident of Dade City, FL. He previously resided in Tampa, Florida and Aliquippa, PA.
Survived by his loving wife of 43 years Denise (Daley), Son and Daughter-in-law, Joseph and Lisa Cernansky Son, Benjamin Cernansky and his partner Kiley Allen as well as her children, Nathan and Emilia. A Daughter and Son-in-law Jessica and John Curtin along with his treasured grandchildren whom he called Missy and Bucko, Lyla and LJ Curtin.
He was a member of Northwood Presbyterian Church Clearwater Florida and former member of Mount Carmel Presbyterian Church Aliquippa Pennsylvania where he was ordained as a deacon of the PCUSA.
George served in the US Army and Army reserves and was a lifelong member of the American Legion belonging to posts in Monaca, PA and Tampa, Florida.
A service will be held on Friday, February 25 at 3 PM at Northwood Presbyterian Church, 2875 SR 580, Clearwater, Florida with a reception to follow. So, we may properly prepare please indicate your attendance at the reception by emailing dnieceys@aol.com by Tuesday, February 22, 2022, would be appreciated. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the food pantry at Northwood Presbyterian Church would be greatly appreciated.
