Giovanni Soto

Soto, Giovanni, 34, of Tampa, passed away tragically on August 13, 2024. Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Giovanni spent most of his life in the Tampa Bay area. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend, and will be forever missed.

Giovanni attended Sickles High School and Hillsborough Community College Technical School. He was the owner/operator of API Performance. He loved to work on cars, both professionally and for friends and family. Giovanni loved riding motorcycles and building racing cars. He was a one-of-a-kind, beautiful spirit who was always there to help a friend. Some would say he was a workaholic.

Giovanni leaves behind his parents, Miguel A Soto and Milagros Rodriguez Vargas; brothers, Herberto Torres, Christian Omar Sanchez, Miguel Soto, Jr.; best friends, Erich Robles, Jose Ortiz; and many other extended family members and friends.

A visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 23, 2024, at Holloway Funeral Home (Oldsmar, FL). Family and friends will celebrate his life at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, FL.
