Gitta Tako-Nicolaisen

Gitta Tako Nicolaisen, 84 of Tampa, passed peacefully on October 21, 2021. She was born June 22, 1937, to the late Tago Nicolaisen and Edith Allentoft, in Copenhagen, Denmark. After arriving in America Gitta lived for many years in California and New Jersey before making her way to Tampa, Florida. She was a real estate broker for many years.  Once retiring she took on a sales work with Scan Design Furniture.

Gitta was an artist who loved to cook and travel especially to Denmark to revisit her Viking roots, but one of her favorite things was to spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her Husband Michael Tako Nicolaisen, her children Natalia, Denise, and Dale, her grandchildren Joseph, Jade, Marcos, and Lucas her sister Helen Clemson, and brother Frank Nicolaisen of Denmark and many other family and friends.

Memorial Gathering to be held on Saturday November 20, 2021, from 1:00 PM until Service at 2:00 PM at Holloway Funeral Home-Chapel 112 Bayview Blvd., Oldsmar, Florida 34677
