Gregory Michael Johnson

Gregory Michael Johnson Sr., 72, of Safety Harbor, FL. passed away on December 29, 2018. Gregory was born to Kenneth and Mary Johnson in East St. Louis, Illinois. He was an Air Force veteran and graduated with an associates degree in law enforcement from Belleville Area College. Gregory eventually pursued a career in corrections and retired under the position of Assistant Warden for the Illinois Department of Corrections. He was preceded in death by his daughter Lori Lynn Johnson.  He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; sons Gregory Jr (Bonnie). and David (Kate); daughter Kimberly Johnson Rathke (Steve); sister Barbara; brothers Phil (Debbie), Stan (Nora), Steve, and Terry (Julie); and grandchildren Jessica Johnson, Samantha Johnson, Brayden Johnson, Tristan Johnson, Patrick Rathke, Garrett Johnson, Lauren Rathke, Connor Johnson, Olivia Rathke, and Mallory Johnson.
