He is survived by his aunt and uncle Peter and Linda Sadowski, cousins Jordan, Meghan, and Lauran of Tampa, Florida. His aunt and uncle Richard and Loretta Stockton, cousins Sarah, Daniel, and Andrew Stockton of Ohio. Cousin Taylor Fitzgerald of Georgia. He is predeased by his father, his uncle Daniel Fitzgerald, and his older brother and best friend Edward Josesph Stockton.

As a child Jimmy loved anything to do with sports. He was a natural athlete and excellent at them all. He was very active in little league baseball and played several seasons of youth soccer. He also loved basketball and skateboarding.

Jimmy fought for years to overcome obstacles in his life. He found a profound faith and closeness with Jesus Christ while attending Teen Challenge in both Florida and Tennessee. His faith was an inspiration to everyone around him. He remained very close with the friends he made there. Jimmy was a big man with a sensitive and loving heart.

He loved working as a commercial and residential painter. He took great pride in his projects and was jokingly called, “Jimmy True Edge”

In 2016 he met and fell in love with Kiasha Roman. Jimmy claimed that she was “his soulmate and the love of his life.” He was always the happiest when he was with her. He adored her children, Brianna and Aiden, and thought of them as his family.

Jimmy was a beautiful, sweet, and caring soul, who will be missed beyond words. He is loved immensely and will never be forgotten.  Jimmy had an inseparable bond with his brother, and know how happy they are to be reunited in heaven with their father.
