Jane C. Urban

Jane Urban, 95, of Palm Harbor, passed away March 4, 2020.  Jane was born on Christmas Day, 1924, in Lakewood, Ohio to Edward and Anna Urban.  She grew up in West Park on the west side of Cleveland.  After High school she enrolled at Fairview Park Nursing School and became a registered nurse.  After years of being a nurse she attended the Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio and earned  a degree in Elementary Education and became a teacher. She retired in 1980 and moved to Clearwater, Florida. Jane was close to her sister Ruth and they did a lot of traveling together over the years, including all 50 states, Europe and Caribbean cruises.  Jane is survived by her nieces Janet Gleason of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, Pamela Gervasoni of Swedesboro, New Jersey and Kelann Maus of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, March 9, 11:00 am at St. Marks Village, Palm Harbor, Florida
