Joanne Mary (Osowski) Sodano

Joanne Mary Sodano, 56, of Odessa, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital North in Lutz. Her family and friends were by her side. Born on April 1, 1965, in Harrison New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Joan Osowski.

She is survived by her husband, Matthew, children Alexander, Christopher and Samantha, brothers Paul McNicholas and Jay Osowski, and numerous nieces and nephews. Joanne was extremely dedicated to her family and had a very strong faith in the Catholic church.

After graduating in 1984 from the Katharine Gibbs school, she embarked on a career in the fragrance industry as an administrative assistant. She was an avid runner and participated in many races in New Jersey, as well as travelling to each of the 50 states to run a marathon, completing in 2013 in Anchorage, Alaska. She enjoyed the travel to these events with her children and husband, and dozens of running friends she had made over the years. Many happy memories were made during these travels.
