Born December 18, 1936, Joseph Cardella a young boy from Riesi, Sicily came to the United States. He found his home in Boston, Massachusetts only to later find his beloved wife of 61 years and mother of his children Virginia Lee Brown. He was a proud father of 5 children: Joey, Michael, Charlie, Jimmy, and Cindy.
But the highlight and joy of his life were his 6 grandchildren Eric, Tiffany, Jimmy, Christina, Justin, and Nicole along with his great-grandchildren Talon, Teagan, and Lucca.
As wonderful and loving a father he was, he excelled at being a grandfather. There was not a doubt he loved those kids more than life itself.
Our dad was also a loving brother to Charlie, Sal, Tony, Frankie, and his sister Phyllis. No matter the distance he loved them all dearly.
All others that knew him referred to him as Papa Joe. He would treat everyone as a part of his family and all the people he touched could not help but love him.
Joseph Cardella was the epitome of a superhero. He encountered many obstacles in his journey of life, but as a superhero, he conquered all of them.
Dad, you will be dearly missed by all the people you have touched in your journey in this life. We love you so much our hero aka Joe, Dad, Papa, and Papa Joe
