Kathleen Mary (Wall) Jones

Kathleen Mary (Wall) Jones, age 70, passed away at Suncoast Hospice Care Center in Palm Harbor on Sunday, June 23, surrounded by family and after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Chicago, IL on August 6, 1948 to Raymond and Mary (Newsham) Wall, and moved to Florida in 1992 with her husband and children. 

She is survived by her husband, Albert Jones, daughters Jamey Jones and Jennifer Richardson, grandsons Caetano, Douglas, and Mateo, sister Carole Horton, and brothers Dave and Richard Wall. She earned an associate’s degree in radiologic technology, and worked and taught in hospital and clinical settings until age 52. She loved to travel, dine, read, enjoy music, and spend time with family and friends. 

Special thanks to the many physicians, nurses, and aides who went above and beyond to care for Kathleen. Her love for her family and her passion for life will live on in the memories and stories her family and friends hold dear.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 12 at 11:00 AM at St. Ignatious Church at 715 E Orange Street in Tarpon Springs, FL. Flowers and donations to Suncoast Hospice are welcome.
