Kristine Marie Horrnik

On Friday, November 10th, we lost our Kristine. She was 35 years old. Accepting this, is the most difficult and unbearable tragedy that a parent could ever endure.

Our daughter fought courageously every step of the way against the many challenges she had to face. She was my sunshine, my everything. In losing her, a part of myself has gone with her. I will forever be proud of you and will never forget you. I had the privilege of being your mother.

Kristine treated everyone with kindness and respect. She was always happy, loved her family, our pets and the animals she took care of at the farm. She loved nature, especially the beach.

She was grateful beyond words to everyone who helped her along the way and was loved by her family and her partner. Kristine was proud of her heritage and her country. She was intelligent and brought wisdom and joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

As a mom this is the most difficult task I’ve ever had to do.  My girl, wherever you are, I want you to know how much you were loved and how proud of you we were. We will never forget your smile, the love you freely gave and your sunny disposition.

Kristine leaves behind her parents, her brother and his wife, her partner, her aunt, uncle and cousin, her grandparents and all those who dearly loved her and were fortunate to have a relationship with her.
