Kyla Marie Caponigro

Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend, Kyla Marie Caponigro, passed away
unexpectedly on March 26, 2023, at the age of 39. Kyla was born in Providence, RI, and graduated with
an MBA from Bryant University, College of Business in 2010. Following her graduation, she successfully
pursued an ever-advancing career in international market research, most recently with the Advantage
Group.

She followed her life’s passions with a power and tenacity all her own. Those passions led her from her
childhood home in Massachusetts to Florida in 2017, where she enjoyed the forever summer. Her smile
brightened every room she entered, her laugh was contagious, and she was the natural life of the party.
Kyla touched the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to have shared in her life, and she will
be dearly missed.

Kyla is survived by her loving mother, Lisa Joyce, and her husband, David, as well as her caring father,
Ronald Caponigro Jr, and his wife, Barbara. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Marilyn
Hoyle; her brother, Ronald Caponigro III, his wife, Kathryn, and their children, Cecilia and Leo; her
stepbrother, Kyle Joyce, and his wife, Amanda; as well as her extensive extended family. Her love for her
family has provided them with strength during this time and will be cherished forever.

A life remembrance service will be held at Holloway Funeral Home in Oldsmar, FL, at 11:00 a.m. on
Saturday, April 15, 2023. 

You can shed tears because they are gone, or you can smile because they lived. You can close your eyes and pray they will come back, or you can open your eyes and see all that they left for you. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see them, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember only that they are gone, or you can cherish their memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind and feel empty, or you can do what they would want. Smile, Open your heart, Love…and go on.
