Marcia A McGinley

Marcia A. McGinley, of Clearwater Florida passed away on February 19, 2025. Marcia was born on December 2,1968 in Pittsburgh PA.  She was a graduate of Mon Valley Catholic High School, Monongahela PA, and Tampa College, Tampa FL. She was a dedicated employee of Global Connections Inc. for over 20 years and a loving caregiver to her parents and brother Mike in their later years.

Marcia loved traveling, watching football, making her famous Irish soda bread, and laughing with friends.  But most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially when they visited her in Clearwater Beach and when she returned to Pennsylvania for family events.  In her 56 years, she never missed a Martinet Family Reunion, which has been celebrated annually in Pennsylvania since 1940.  Marcia was a loving daughter, sister, cousin, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed.

Marcia is survived by brothers Neil, Pat, Mark and Jim, sisters-in-law Joan, Gail and Patty, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents John and Elizabeth McGinley, brothers Jack and Mike, and grandparents, Howard and Matilda McGinley and Ladis and Jennie Harosky. 

There will be no visitation.  A private celebration of Marcia’s life will be held on March 15,2025 in Dunedin FL, and this summer in Pennsylvania at a date and place to be determined. She will be interred at Calvary Cemetery in Charleroi PA near her parents.
