Mary Evelyn Chako a.k.a. "Lynn Pupello" passed away Sunday, July 10th. She was an avid reader, a fierce appreciator of art and theatre, and an adventurer of the world with a passion for travel. Lynn was a lover of movies and of watching handsome men on the Hallmark Channel. We were in awe of her expertise in movie memorabilia and behind-the-scenes celebrity stories. We bonded over funny late night shows like Carson, early Letterman, SNL and SCTV. In her youth, she wrote for The St. Petersburg Times as an entertainment reporter and once even dated Elvis Presley (truly!). She loved nothing more than spending time with her children and grandchildren, was a generous listener, and laughed a lot at our jokes. Kindred to all the free spirits of the world, she is survived by her three children, Dennis, Frank, and Angela Pupello, who always felt her constant and unconditional love, her daughter-in-law Kelley, her brother Randy Chako, her niece Alicia, and her four grandchildren, Dylan, Kelden, Frankie and Mariella. We hope to see you in the great beyond, Ma.
