Matthew Gregory Poole

Matthew Gregory Poole, 63, went to be with his lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on July 3, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family after being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia on August 12, 1960. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Patricia Poole. Matt's legacy extends through his wife, Terri Poole; his children, Kelly Tomas, Kimberly Poole and Wendy Poole; his grandchildren, Molly, Charlotte, Jett and Beau; as well as siblings, Loretta Williams, Vincent Poole and Chris Poole, all of whom he adored and cherished deeply. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2024 at Holloway Funeral Home, 112 S Bayview Blvd. In lieu of flowers, Matt would like memorial contributions to be made in Kimberly Poole's name to the American Diabetes Association.
