Nancy Shinn Ericson, 87, of Holiday, Florida, formerly of Ozona and Palm Harbor, passed away at home Sunday, June 21, after a brief illness. Born in Bellmawr, NJ, to Pierson and Rebakah Shinn, she moved to Clearwater in 1945. Nancy graduated in 1950 from Clearwater High School, and married Wallace Ericson in 1955 at Peace Memorial Presbyterian Church. She dedicated her adult life to raising her three children, and grandchildren, and always stayed active in her church. Nancy is survived by her husband Wallace, three adult children, Steven C. (Tony) of Bushnell, FL, Susan E. Wissler (Tom) of Holiday, FL, and Thomas A. (Kim) of Old Town, FL, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, her brother Richard P. Shinn of Franklin, N.C., and sister Joan Mackert of Safety Harbor. A Celebration of Life service is planned after the COVID-19 pandemic subsides. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to HPH Hospice.
