Nancy Davis Nichols was born in St Petersburg, FL October 19, 1948 to Phyllis and Lyon Davis. She passed peacefully after a brave two year battle with cancer on September 17, 2021.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years, Greg; her daughters Laurie Brassart (Shawn), Julie Holland (Jason), Kristen Walters (David), and Leigh Ann White; her brothers Will Davis (BJ) and David Davis (Peggy); her grandchildren Chelsea Brassart, Eileigh Bell, Nichole Ragon, Micah Overstreet and Colton Overstreet and great grandchildren, James and Bella Ragon. She was also the favorite Aunt Nancy to many nieces and nephews and their children.
Nancy spent 25 years in the public school system, working in the offices at Dunedin Middle and Paul B Stephens. She finished her career in her favorite job as an aide working with special needs children.
Nothing was more important to her than her savior Jesus and her family. Nancy loved all people, especially children. She loved to travel to new places and preferred the snow & hated the heat.
Nancy was so kind and loved by many. Her CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 705 Michigan Blvd. Dunedin on Saturday Oct 2nd @ 11 a.m. In honor of Nancy’s love for all things bright and cheerful please feel free to wear colorful attire. A reception will follow in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice @ Chapters Health Foundation (HPH Hospice) 3010 W Azeele St, Suite 120, Tampa 33609.
