Pasquale Placanica Jr. 62, of Oldsmar, Florida passed away on January 7, 2020, surrounded by his family singing his favorite song, Yellow Submarine. Pasquale, Pops, Uncle Pat, Dad, whatever name you knew him by, was a caring, loving legend who was the sole survivor of a military aircraft accident in 1976, a well known DJ in South Florida known to the masses as Tony Mahoney, an amateur comedian and actor appearing in films, such as Scarface and Blue Sky, and performed 15-minutes with Rodney Dangerfield. He was also a father figure to dozens of not-so-adopted children. He survived 9 strokes, 2 heart attacks, a blood sugar of over 1600, and multiple vehicle accidents doing donuts in a parking lot. He is survived by the love of his life Jandene Placanica, sons Tony & Pasquale III, and daughters Amber & Meagan. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be performed at a home in Lutz, FL on January 25, 2020. at 4:00 PM.
