Patricia (Patsy) Donnelly Callan, 84, of Dunedin Fl. and Newton Ma. Was called home to heaven January 5th, 2023 to be with her beloved husband of 40 years, Arthur, who passed just two weeks before. Born March 1, 1938 in Fall River, Ma she is a graduate of Durfee HS. She is predeceased by her brother John Valentine Donnelly Jr. of Somerset, Ma. and her sister Mary (Meg) Donnelly Peterson of Annapolis, Md.
An extremely accomplished woman, Patsy had many varied interests after retiring as an educator from the Cambridge Public Schools, and was a loved friend to many in both Florida and Massachusetts. She belonged to Mu Phi Epsilon while attending Boston University on a music scholarship and maintained several lifelong friendships through her charter. Patsy also was an avid reader and writer of poetry, a professional musician, organist, choir director, and voice teacher. She was a lifetime supporter of the arts, theater, music, and museums. She and her husband Arthur shared many travel adventures together, and were fiercely loyal and devoted to their combined families. She had a quick wit and a beautiful smile that she shared often.
Survivors include her two children Christine and David, as well as her step children John, Kathleen, James, Jeffrey, and Daniel, their spouses, 12 grandchildren, sister Ellen Hardgrave and brother Thomas Donnelly both of Clearwater, Fl. and sister Anne Donnelly of Fall River, Ma. and many nieces and nephews that she loved with all her heart.
