Robert J Hicks

Robert J "Bob" Hicks, 60 of Tampa, Fl passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2023, at Advent Carrollwood hospital.  He was born October 8, 1962 in Chicago Heights Illinois, the son of Charles E and Barbara J (Crawford) Hicks.

Robert was retired from the Elevator Industry, where he worked for over 30 years, with most of those years working for Schindler Elevator Company.  In his retirement he enjoyed watching Tampa Bay Rays baseball, and sitting on his back porch listening to country music.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Charles G. and William D. Hicks.

Surviving in addition to his wife Dawn (Cook) Hicks, are his sons Austin Cook and Kyle Hicks; brother James Hicks; sisters Sandra Acosta and Tracy Kirby; along with many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life honoring Bob will be announced at a later date.
