Robert G Prettyman

Robert G. Prettyman died on July 27, 2020, in Tarpon Springs, FL at East Lake Manor after a long battle with kidney disease.  Bob was born on January 17, 1950, in Marion, Ohio, the son of Ruth (Lyon) and H. Lee Prettyman, Sr.  He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1968 and received his Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University.

Bob was very artistic; enjoyed drawing with various mediums and thoroughly enjoyed reading  books and later listening to books on tape.  He had an extensive CD music collection of all types of music.  Bob enjoyed spending lake time with his family at Bay Point in Marblehead, OH as well as Loch Erin in Onsted MI.

Bob is survived by his mother Ruth, sisters Susan (Cady) Craig and Marcy (Randy) Mayes, and brothers Timothy (Sandra), Jonathan (Mary Ann) and H. Lee Jr. (Vicky).  He had 11 nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew (Benjamin).

A family memorial celebration will take place at a later date in Onsted, Michigan.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Pinellas Talking Book Library, 1330 Cleveland St, Clearwater, FL  33755.  Cremation arrangements were handled by Holloway Funeral Home of Oldsmar, FL.
