Romano, Sr., Robert Ralph, 83, of Tarpon Springs, passed away peacefully, December 28, 2024, in Palm Harbor, Florida. Born in Bronx, New York, he grew up near Yankee Stadium and spent most of his adult life in the Bronx and Yonkers, before moving to Florida.
He went on to serve his country, proudly, in the United States Army. After his service, he married and later raised two loving children. Robert owned his own taxi-cab business in New York City and later joined the union as a professional window washer for many years.
He was an avid New York Yankees, Giants, and Rangers fan, always ready to cheer on his teams!
Robert leaves behind his children, Robert R Romano, Jr., Jennifer Larimer, their mother, Clara Romano, and grandson Ryan Larimer to cherish his memory.
Graveside services with military honors will take place at 1 p.m., on January 2, 2025, at Florida National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the United States Veterans Administration or your local chapter of the American Legion, in Robert's memory.
